Father’s Day is right around the corner. Like a lot of people, I struggle with ideas for my dad and husband. Here are some things I’ve purchased in the past that were a big hit!
Beef Jerky
This was my husband’s Valentine’s Day present this year. Even though it arrived a little late (late ordering on my part didn’t help) it was a hit. I personally won’t try Alligator Jerky but he enjoyed it! #men
Customized mug
A few years ago I got my husband a customized dad mug- DAD EST with all 3 kids birthdate. Even if the dad in your life is not a beer drinker, it’s a nice large mug and different styles are available.
Photo cube
A photo cube from Shutterfly is a great idea for those dads with a desk! This was a hit – so much that one of my husband’s co-workers tracked me down to find out where I bought it. He wanted to get one for his wife’s birthday. I also made myself one for myself using vacation photos and it sits on my desk at work.
Knife
I am told by my husband that you can never have too many knives. Maybe this is the male equivalent of purses? We’ve purchased several from Smoky Mountain Knife Works.
Bobble head
I ordered a bobble head last year for a Bosses Day gift but this would be great for Father’s Day as well. Super unique and looked a lot like the photo I sent with the order.
“What I Love About Dad” book
This was a fun fill-in-the- blank book. I let my kids fill it out and they came up with some very creative answers!
Sports gifts
If you have a sports dad in your life, Chalk Talk sports has a lot of great ideas: picture frames, shirts, and more. Most items can be customized.
Gifts from One-Way Up
My bestie recently started her own business and makes some unique items. I’m guessing dad won’t like her homemade leather earrings, so I’ll leave those out (they are adorable though ladies!) When I found a few last minute things I wanted for my husband, she came to the rescue. She made this awesome shirt.
She also made a personalized baseball.
If the dad in your life likes gardening or has a punny sense of humor, he would love her planters and watering cans. There are a lot to choose from or you can request something if you have your own idea!
Check out her FB page or Etsy Shop.
I would love to hear some other ideas for the special dads in your life!
